ShadeSolar is a great company and the Aspen Floodlights work very well! They continue to work with minimal exposure to sunshine. The technology behind these lights must be complex and incredible because the lights do not need much sunshine to work fine. I am very pleased!

The light was placed under a big magnolia tree, hidden behind a gardenia, beside a 6” fence; I was hoping to highlight the tree trunk. But I am truly amazed at what bright light I get! Other lights don’t even come on at all; I’ve tried. This light is expensive, but is certainly worth it. Thank you!

Operates as promised. However, why sell an outdoor light and then warn against moisture. It’s an outdoor light.
ShadeSolar1 week agoThanks for the feedback. The solar lights are IP66 (very water resistant) but they should not be submerged. Recommended to stay out out of deep snow because when it melts, the lights may be temporarily submerged.

I bought these lights years ago and used them until they died.
When I went to order 2 more a few weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see they have been improved. And they work even better than before on my shady balcony.
